                                                   Creative Critical Reflection

Hey readers! Welcome to the final blog posting! This blog posting will reflect on my CCR (Creative Critical Reflection) process. The CCR is a very important and effective part of the Cambridge Portfolio Project. The CCR allows students to discuss their post-production process and answer the mandatory questions assigned to the project. Students are assigned to create two productions in which all four compulsory questions are answered. The two productions I am using are a PowerPoint with Voice over and a Talk Show.

PowerPoint with Voice ove

This part of my CCR answers two of the four compulsory questions. These questions are related to conventions of my chosen genre and social groups. To add, these questions relates to how the product engages with the audience and how the film opening will be distributed. Through out the power point, I thoroughly explain my answer to each question. I also provide a few visuals so it is clear to understand what is being discussed. I truly believe that power points are an amazing way for information to be displayed efficiently.

Talk Show

Once again, this part of my CCR answers two of the four compulsory questions. These questions are related to how my production skills improved throughout the project and how I integrated different technologies. These technologies include online, hardware, software, etc. I believe that Talk Shows are a very fun and entertaining way of discussing different topics. Talk Shows are meant to be engaging and to obtain the audience's attention. This is the sole reason why I decided to pursue a talk show as one of my productions.

With all of this being said,  I am very proud of the end products of my CCR. I believe that each one of the productions portrays the answers to the compulsory questions in a very clear manner. Without further ado, here are the links to my CCR's and/or Creative Critical Reflection:

                                                                    Film Opening

Welcome back readers! This blog posting will definitely be one to remember!  Regarding this posting, I will be concluding my filming process and deliver you guys the link to my official film opening. My filming process has definitely been a very fun experience. I have been able to incorporate what I have learned throughout the year from my AICE Media Class and learn new things along the way during my production process. For example, how to edit efficiently and incorporate different technical elements.

As a reminder, my chosen film genre is Romance. All in all, I am very glad that I picked this film genre to pursue for my film opening. Romance films are the basis of romantic love stories between two characters. Two characters meet, fall in love, and their love story begins. My film Ever After represents the love story of my beloved parents. The film showcases how one another met and my parents are indeed, the characters of my film opening. The names of my main characters are John and Maria. As some of you may already know, John and Maria met in a workplace setting. Both characters are professional hard workers, and their love story began in a workplace area.

Regarding the many good things about my production process, there were a few hardships. These include finding the best area to film my production in, the editing process, and incorporating a few technical elements. Location scouting was the main way that I chose where to film my project. I considered various downtowns/town center all across Florida. In the end, I chose to film at Peace Mound Park and the Weston Hills Country Club. I am very happy I chose these locations because they provided the best visuals for my project. Moving on to the editing process, I used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit my production. Adobe Premiere Pro was difficult to use at first, although through research and great advice I figured out how to work my way around it. As far as incorporating technical elements, I learned how to incorporate sound and transitions as smooth as possible throughout my film.

With all of this being said, I am very happy with the final product of my film opening. I believe that it came out perfectly and exactly how I imagined it. In the end, if I could choose to pick another genre or storyline I would not. This film opening is the representation of my parents love and that is very important to me. Without further ado, let me introduce to you Ever After
