Schedule for Portfolio Project

 

              Welcome back family! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day, if not, I am here to make it better.  I have already mentioned the basis and topic of my Portfolio Project. Today, I will be providing a schedule or timeline for my project. Please note that this schedule may change, however, it will help me stay on track over these nine weeks and allow you guys to see what I will be completing each week. In addition, if anyone has any comments, questions, or concerns about my schedule, please do not hesitate to let me know. With this being said, let's get into my schedule for the Portfolio Project!

Schedule: 

Week 1: 

• Pick package for Portfolio Project (Music Promotion Package, Film Promotion Package, Documentary Package, or Short Film Package). 

• Brainstorm topic of Portfolio Project 

• Create timeline or schedule for project 

Week 2:

• Begin Research Process

- Discuss genre of Film 

-Research and Analysis other Movies 

-Describe Target Audience for Film 

- Explain Background of Characters 

Week 3: 

• Continue Research Process

- Develop Storyboard for Film 

- Create outline for Film 

- Develop Layout Drawings 

- Describe Casting Process 

Week 4: 

• Conclude Research Process/Begin Production Process

- Develop ScreenPlay for film 

- Develop Shot List

- Create Shooting Schedule 

- Scout for Locations/ Discuss Camera Equipment 

Week 5:

• Continuation of Production Process: 

- Develop Prop / Set Design 

- Discuss Costuming Options 

- Discuss Lighting Schemes 

Week 6: 

• Continuation of Production Process: 

- Create Sound Lists 

- Create Graphics 

- Discuss Obstacles 

- Discuss editing softwares 

Week 7: 

• Conclusion of Production Process/ Beginning of Post Production Process: 

- Reflect on Production Process (challenges, obstacles, good moments, etc.)

- Develop Social Media Page and Film Poster

- Work on Editing of Film Trailers 

- Research/Plan for Critical Reflection 

Week 8:

• Continuation of Post Production Process: 

- Continue Editing of Film Trailers 

- Research/ Plan for Critical Reflection 

Week 9: 

-  Overall reflection of Portfolio Project 

- Final Corrections of Project 

- Upload ALL Components of Project (Trailers, Critical Reflection, Social Media Page, and Film Poster).
