Research/Planning for Portfolio Project

Welcome back readers! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day.  Today, I will be giving you all the screenplay/script for my film trailers. As we enter the planning phase of my Portfolio Project, it is essential that you guys are up to date with every step of the process. With this being said, let us hop right into today's discussion.

Before I reveal the scripts for my film trailers, I must explain to everyone what a film script consists of! Screenplays or scripts are essentially the blueprint for the movie. A screenplay is written in a consistent matter that distinguishes between dialogue, characters, and action lines. Screenplays help to display the schedule of the production.

Screenplays are used for various media forms. These media forms include any moving media, film, or TV show. The script does a great job at laying out the director's vision. As a result, the film's designers or actors are given a road map for the film production. Basically, a screenplay is a form of narration. Every movement, action, or expression of the characters is indicated.

Now, let's get into the process of how I developed the scripts for my film trailers. As you all already know, I have to develop two film trailers for my production, 'Only Mine.' As I was brainstorming the ideas for my film trailers, I decided on an important concept for both. Each trailer will focus on the point of view of Jacob or Sarah.  As a reminder, 'Only Mine' consists of a girl and her obsessive boyfriend. When my target audience views my film trailers, they will be able to view the point of view of each of the main characters. This will allow each trailer to follow the same storyline, while being unique/different.

The script for the first trailer follows Sarah's point of view. The audience is able to understand her feelings towards the situation. In addition, the audience can clearly hear her thoughts and reactions towards Jacob. Here is the screenplay for the first trailer:

As mentioned previously, the script for the second trailer follows Jacob's point of view. The audience is able to view his obsessive techniques and gain an understanding of his home environment. In addition, the audience will be able to hear his thoughts and reasoning for treating Sarah badly. Here is the screenplay for the second trailer:

Well, these are the official screenplays for both of my film trailers! Make sure to check them out whenever you guys have time, and don't be afraid to leave any comments about them. Thank you all again, for showing me so much support along this project's journey. With this being said, that is all for today and see you guys soon. XOXO!
