Welcome, Welcome, AND Welcome Back Readers! Now that we have discussed the genre of my film and analyzed other movies similar to it, we will be discussing the target audience and characters of my film! Also, I have a surprise for you at the end of this blog post, so stay tuned.
Target Audience
Target Audience refers to a particular group at which a film, book, or advertising campaign is aimed.
In other words, target audience is the specific group of consumers most likely wanting to view your product. It is the group of people who should view your film. Target audience can be based off of gender, age, income, interests, location, etc.
Target Audience can be broken down into four sections. These sections are psychographic, behavioral, demographic, and geographic.
Psychographic is related to hobbies, opinions, beliefs, social status, etc. Next, behavioral is related to product feedback, interactions with the brand, and loyalty to the brand. Then, demographic is related to age, gender, income, and religion. Lastly, geographic is related to climate, culture, and language. These are the four essential components regarding a target audience.
As I have given back ground information on what a target audience is, let's hope into the designated target audience of my film. The target audience of my film will be young adults, ranging from 17-22. These young adults will be female and male. Additionally, my target audience will be middle class consumers. You guys might be wondering, "Why young adults? Why middle class consumers?" I chose this target audience because many young adults enjoy watching thrillers. Also, my film will contain signs of violence or psychological issues. This is only appropriate for young adult viewers. As for why my target audience will be middle class consumers, is because my film will be a reasonable price. People that earn an average salary will have no problem viewing it.
My film trailers will consist of 5 characters. These characters are Sarah, Courtney, Brooke, Jacob, and Trinity. Sarah is one of the main characters of the film and is the protagonist. Jacob is another main character of the film and is the antagonist. Today, I will provide a brief back ground of each character.
- Sarah:
1. Kind
2. Open
3. Easily Influenced
- Courtney:
1. Sarah's bestfriend
2. Assertive
3. Protective
- Brooke:

3. Shy
- Jacob:
